Below is a listing of all the public mailing lists on groups.michbar.org. Please read the information below. Click on a list name to get specific information about that list, or to subscribe, unsubscribe, and change the preferences on your subscription.

You must be a member of the section to join that section's list(s).

Discussion vs. Announcement lists: Each list below is either a discussion list or an announcement list. On a discussion list, members can send e-mail messages to the list address and the messages will be sent to the entire list membership. This allows for easy communication to all list members through the use of a single e-mail address. On an announcement list, members can only receive messages.

Discussion lists have a moderate to high volume of messages (2-10 per day) and topics generally include legal discussion and new issues surrounding the section's area of the law. To join a discussion list you must fill out the subscription form found on the links below and you must be a current member of the section.

Announcement lists have a low volume of messages (1-2 per month) and topics generally concern important section wide issues, such as upcoming events or newsletter distribution. By default, section members are automatically signed up for section announcement lists with the e-mail address provided to the State Bar of Michigan.
